Day 17: Finn/Puck Duet

I know this might a risk/fight in the making choice but: Say Say Say - Michael Jackson/Paul McCartney Well, I must say this is a very different decision. I just thought that Puck and Finn needed something different from their usual song choice of classic rock. This song is funky, new, fresh and I love it! Plus, it will show off vocals and they can possibly dance to this song.

Airplanes - B.o.B. ft. Haley Williams Now, I tried finding a song that fits along with their story line but I couldn’t. I picked Airplanes because it has a rapping part and beautiful vocals. Blame it on the Boogie - Jackson 5 I love this Jackson 5 song and it’s ridiculously cute. A total opposite from the girl number I chose. It’s also a very danceable song, something the boys really have strength in (cough Mike cough). Plus, I can see the guys have a lot of fun with this number. I’m Yours - Jason Mraz Sam is originally from California so I thought of Jason Mraz when I was deciding a song for him. He can also play guitar, which makes the feel of the song more real than it probably would have with any other character. Plus, I love Sam/Chord and Jason Mraz so I think I might have a mini orgasm if he ever does this song.

Stormy Weather - Etta James I would like Kurt to see something classic yet different from what he’s used too. I love, love, LOVE Etta James’ version of Stormy Weather because it’s simply beautiful. His duet with Rachel proves that Kurt can do old school and make it modern and beautiful.

Your Body is a Wonderland - John Mayer Another one of those songs that can be taken as a dirty and naughty. Puck definitely can do songs with a good solid guitar background and good lyrics. I picked John Mayer because they (JM and Puck) both have a bad boy edge with a soft inside.

Find Your Love - Drake or Senorita - Justin Timberlake I LOVE IT WHEN ARTIE SINGS/PERFORMS HIP HOP. I was really torn between Find Your Love and Senorita so I chose both. I know this is breaking the rules of this challenge but I couldn’t pick. Artie is so hip and modern that he can do anything with crazy good vocals. I love him so much.

You Know I’m No Good - Amy Winehouse This song is extremely sassy and dirty but it’s perfect for Santana. Ever since I heard the Valerie cover, I knew that Naya/Santana can sing Amy Winehouse. And it’s funny. Although it’s ironic that Amy and Naya/Santana fit together so well. I could have picked any Amy song but they I think this one best represents Santana.

Day 4: Solo for Mercedes

Happy - Leona Lewis I believe I had the hardest time for Mercedes because there are so many songs you can do with her. Amber Riley can really sing and she’s probably my favorite singer on the show. I had it down to a few songs and while I was listening to them, I rediscovered this Leona Lewis song. It’s a beautiful, powerful song that I think that Amber/Mercedes can bring justice too.

Gravity by Sara Bareilles Quinn really proved herself when she sang “Man’s World” during the first season. I love Quinn’s voice because it’s powerful yet soft when it needs to be. I pick “Gravity” because it’s a mixture of both soft and strong, something that Quinn can sing. Plus, I love this song to the extreme and imagine Quinn/Dianna singing it
